## Shure
My default brand of microphone for ...well... everything, really.
### SM58
The industry standard wired microphone. If you've seen a silver ice cream cone plugged into a cable and someone's yelling into it, it's either one of these, or a pale imitation of it. A rightfully earned reputation from decades of service.

### SM57
## Blue
A solid, if not quirky, microphone brand known for long-standing classics, and stand-out designs.
### Snowball
The round, USB-connected, large-diaphram microphone that pretty much everyone should start with

## Blackmagic
A solid first rung on the ladder of pro video. If you're needing cameras, switching, editing, capture, display, conversion, or equipment for various other video use-cases, this is your first stop. |
